Peak UK Chart Position: #4 in September 1991. Zoë Pollock finally had a hit with this track at the second attempt. It originally stalled at number 53 in November 1990, but was subsequently remixed and reissued, and ended up (suitably) being a summer smash. The follow-up single “Lightning” fared less well, with the unusual distinction

Zoë Pollock finally had a hit with this track at the second attempt. It originally stalled at number 53 in November 1990, but was subsequently remixed and reissued, and ended up (suitably) being a summer smash.

The follow-up single “Lightning” fared less well, with the unusual distinction of spending three weeks at number 37, and climbing no higher. The album both singles came from, “Scarlet Red and Blue” fared even less well, managing only number 67.
