Who?: Four-piece (for first album) English R&B girl group, comprising of Easther and Vernie Bennett, Kéllé Bryan, and Louise Nurding (later Redknapp).

Then: Formed in 1992, first hit “Stay” (#4, October 1993). Album “Always & Forever” sold over 1.2 million copies (making it the fourth best seller of 1994) but only reached number two. Six singles released from the album, all of which made the top twenty in the UK. Louise left before the second album “Power Of A Woman”, which yielded a further four top ten singles.

Now: Reformed in 2013 for ITV2’s reality show “The Big Reunion”, and performed a one-off concert in March 2014 – both without Louise. Easther and Vernie continued as a duo as recently as last year.

Random Fact: BeBe Winans, who appeared on their number one “I Wanna Be The Only One”, also wrote their sixth top twenty hit “Crazy”.
