I’ve just moved house and broadband is missing for now, so sporadic audio delights for the next few days. This definitely is a delight, just a really really nice pop song.

This performance is from 28 (!) years ago yesterday – Debbie had a string of UK hits across ’88 and ’89, then went off the radar, returning in 1993 on a duet with Craig McLachlan (“You’re The One That I Want”) from their Grease musical.

She’s still performing and making music, and is pretty prolific on Twitter.

No clue why Steve Wright is wearing blue rubber gloves at the end of this performance, plus it looks like Top of the Pops did a bulk purchase at Radio Rentals…
