Peak UK Chart Position: #10 in December 2005.

Thomas Reichold – or Tom Novy, as he is more famously known, is a DJ and producer from Munich, Germany. His first production in 1995 sampled the Jungle Brothers’ “I’ll House U”; chart success came a few years later with fellow German Robert Borrmann, known as Eniac. They scored a European club smash with “Superstar”, credited to Novy vs Eniac, and reached number 32 on the UK charts with it in 1998. “Pumpin'” was also one of their collaborations, faring better, a number 19 hit in 2000.

“Your Body” featured Michael Marshall, vocalist with 80’s American R&B group Timex Social Club, who scored a number 13 hit in 1986 with “Rumors”. He also contributed the chorus to the 1995 hit for the Luniz, “I Got 5 On It”, and is still a very active singer, songwriter, and producer.

Tonight, if you’re at a loose end, you can catch Novy at the Pacha event in Ischgl, Austria.
